About the Role
Manage, plan, develop and recommend system database administration functions in accordance with company policies and guidelines in order to ensure efficiency
Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
Optimizing and managing database replication, incident handling, upgrades, migration, backup and recovery.
Monitoring database availability and performance.
Creating and maintaining database standards and policies
Apply security to database deployments and operations.
Support developers in service/apps development that focuses on database design
Requirements
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Proficient in at least two of Database Platform i.e. MSSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, TigerGraph, Informatica, MySQL, MongoDB
Performing database housekeeping, such as tuning, indexing, etc.
Able to monitoring database efficiency
Have good communication skill; able to deliver detailed information between team member and also to another team; able to take the knowledge (essence) from received information.
Analytical mindset with great problem solving abilities.
